About this hike
This stretch begins in woodlands below Monte Pelmo and gradually transitions to the base of Monte Civetta, one of the Dolomites’ most iconic faces. You’ll pass abandoned farmsteads and small alpine huts before entering the shadow of towering limestone cliffs. The final push to Rifugio Vazzoler includes steeper terrain with sweeping views of the Val Civetta.
