Stage 3: Rifugio Fanes to Rifugio Lagazuoi

About this hike

Departing from the tranquil meadows of Rifugio Fanes, the trail meanders through the Gran Fanes plateau, offering glimpses of marmots and alpine flora. The path then ascends steeply to Forcella del Lago, a dramatic saddle at 2,486 meters, before descending to the emerald waters of Lago Lagazuoi. A final push leads to Rifugio Lagazuoi, perched atop a peak with sweeping views of the surrounding ranges.
