Stage 8: Passo Duran to Rifugio Sommariva al Pramperét

About this hike

This stage marks the entrance into the wild and less-traveled Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. From Passo Duran, the path climbs toward the Pramperet range, passing open pastures and clusters of wildflowers. The scenery shifts to rugged cliffs and alpine moorland as you reach Rifugio Sommariva al Pramperét, nestled in a glacial bowl beneath steep walls.
