Zentsuji

About this hike

Zentsuji is one of the most important temples on the pilgrimage—it’s Kobo Daishi’s birthplace. The grounds are large, with tall gates and a calm, sacred feeling. The walk is about 1 km and takes less than an hour. We recommend this stop for its spiritual meaning and beautiful atmosphere.
