About this hike
Yokomineji lies on the slopes of Mount Ishizuchi, one of Japan’s most sacred peaks. The temple is remote and surrounded by thick forest. The trail is steep, around 7 km, and takes 3–4 hours. We recommend this hike for its challenging climb and deeply spiritual mountain views.
