Yakuoji

About this hike

Yakuoji, on Iouzan in Minami, is known as the “Temple of Medicine King.” People visit here to pray for protection from bad luck, especially at certain ages in Japanese tradition. The trail is around 3 km and takes 1.5 hours. We recommend this hike for its lively atmosphere and cultural importance.
