Tanemaji sits on Motoozan in Kochi and is known as the “Seed Temple,” symbolizing growth and renewal. According to legend, Kobo Daishi planted five grains of seed here to bless the land. The hike is about 4 km and takes 2 hours. We recommend this hike for its gentle countryside views and meaningful symbolism.
