Okuboji

About this hike

Okuboji marks the final temple of the Shikoku 88 Temples Challenge. Located on Iouzan in Sanuki, it’s surrounded by dense forest and cool mountain air. Pilgrims often leave their walking sticks here to complete their journey. The hike is about 5 km and takes 2–3 hours. We recommend this hike for its deep meaning, mountain beauty, and sense of completion.
