About this hike
Kongochoji, on Ryuuzuzan in Muroto, is often called the “Temple of the Diamond Peak.” Surrounded by forests, it has a peaceful atmosphere and a strong spiritual presence. The hike is around 5 km and takes 2–3 hours. We recommend this hike for its quiet mountain setting and connection to ancient Buddhist teachings.
