Basecamp with stunning mountain views. Ideal for acclimatization, the area provides panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lush landscapes, making it a peaceful stop for trekkers on the Salkantay route. Soraypampa is a scenic high-altitude valley (3,900 m / 12,795 ft) and a key starting point for the Salkantay Trek. Surrounded by towering mountains, including Salkantay and Humantay, it’s a popular camping area for trekkers. The breathtaking Humantay Lake hike also begins here.
