Stage 6: Reds Meadow → Lake Virginia

About this hike

This scenic stage transitions from the wooded landscape of Red’s Meadow to the high alpine setting of Lake Virginia. Hikers travel through dense pine forests, past Cascade Valley junction, and then climb toward rolling ridgelines and open meadows before arriving at the tranquil and beautifully situated Lake Virginia.
