Stage 2: Sunrise Camp → Tuolumne Meadows

Stage 2 traverses rolling alpine terrain past Cathedral Peak and through Lyell Fork’s pristine headwaters, eventually descending into Tuolumne Meadows. This segment is rich in wildflowers, granite spires, and high-mountain lakes, offering some of the most scenic views of the northern Sierra Nevada.
