Stage 13: Mather Pass → Pinchot Pass

About this hike

This stage traverses from one high alpine basin to another. From Mather Pass, the trail descends into the South Fork Kings River canyon, then climbs again through a series of tarns and plateaus to Pinchot Pass—less traveled but just as scenic as its neighbors.
