Cabane de Prafleuri to Arolla

About this hike

This stage begins with a short climb to Col des Roux, overlooking the turquoise waters of Lac des Dix. The trail then follows the lake before climbing steeply to the Pas de Chèvres or Col de Riedmatten. Both involve rocky terrain, and Pas de Chèvres includes metal ladders. The descent leads into the village of Arolla, surrounded by larch forest and alpine meadows.
