North Maroon Peak is one of the toughest and most dangerous 14ers, famous for its unstable rock and Class 4 scrambling. Often confused with nearby Maroon Peak, it is an independent summit requiring experience, good weather, and strong route-finding. It’s incredibly scenic but not for beginners.
