About this hike
Mount Shavano is famous for the “Angel of Shavano,” a snow formation visible in spring. It's one of the southernmost Sawatch 14ers and can be combined with Tabeguache Peak for a long day. The route is steep but scenic, climbing through forest, tundra, and rocky ridgelines.
