This pack collects 50 national parks across eight Balkan countries and Greece's northern reach: Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, and Greece. Every park here is sourced to a Wikidata entity verified against the "instance of national park" (P31=Q46169) claim; coordinates come directly from each entity's own location data, never estimated.
Live with 50 of the 56 sourced parks. 6 are held back (hike row created but deactivated, not deleted) pending verification with the national authority: Theth National Park, Valbona Valley National Park, Zall-Gjoçaj National Park, Kučaj-Beljanica National Park, Stara Planina National Park, North Pindos National Park — see the original draft (docs/content/balkans-np-passport.md) for the specific open question on each. Left out of the pack entirely pending ground-truthing (no coordinate could be sourced, never invented): Lake Kerkini National Park (Q24953265, no P625 coordinate claim on the Wikidata entity). Cross-border parks sharing a name (Prespa in Albania and Greece) are kept as distinct checkpoints, one per country, matching how each is actually administered.
