Italy’s first national park, Gran Paradiso spans 710 km² in the Graian Alps. Named after the 4,061-meter peak, it’s known for alpine meadows, ibex sightings, and peaceful mountain trails. Once a royal hunting reserve, the park preserves rare flora and fauna in pristine high-altitude wilderness.
