About this hike

At 8,188 meters, Cho Oyu's west face offers a relatively less technical route. It shares Everest’s grandeur but with less crowd and commercial pressure. Cho Oyu, the world’s sixth-highest mountain at 8,201 meters, straddles the Nepal-Tibet border. Renowned for its relatively moderate climbing routes, Cho Oyu is popular among climbers seeking an accessible 8000er.
