Berat is one of Albania’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This walk climbs from the Mangalem quarter through Ottoman homes and up to the Berat Castle, where Byzantine churches and panoramic views meet layers of Illyrian, Roman, and medieval heritage.
