Leaving Roncesvalles, the path winds through peaceful beech and oak woods, passing through small Basque villages like Espinal. You’ll cross two gentle passes, Alto de Mezquiriz and Alto de Erro, before descending to Zubiri. Don’t miss the medieval “Puente de la Rabia,” the bridge of legend over the River Arga.
