About this hike

After your night in Triacastela, you can choose between two routes: one through San Xil’s shaded forest paths, and another through Samos, where you can visit the grand Samos Monastery. Both paths are beautiful, with oak woods and rural charm. Sarria is the most popular starting point for pilgrims walking the final 100 km to Santiago.
